Children's Day Celebration 2024-25
Children's Day is a celebration dedicated to honoring children, raising awareness about their rights, well-being, and needs, and promoting efforts to improve their lives.
Jawaharlal Nehru, India’s first Prime Minister, is closely associated with Children’s Day in India. Born on November 14, 1889, Nehru was known for his deep affection and commitment to children’s welfare and education. Because of this, November 14—his birth anniversary—is celebrated annually as Children’s Day in India (Bal Diwas), honoring his legacy and vision for the younger generation.
The day began by garlanding Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru's photo. Then the teachers also presented a humorous skits, dance performances , solo and group songs that brought laughter and joy to the students, setting a festive tone for the day.
A small riddles activitiy was also conducted by the teachers which gave a lot of amusement to the children. They were even awarded with gifts.
Teachers dedication and hardwork to make this day special truly made the children feel very special.
The Children’s Day celebration of our school was a resounding success. The students enjoyed themselves immensely and took part in every activity with great enthusiasm. The event highlighted the school's commitment to nurturing each child’s talents, rights, and happiness. Overall, it was a memorable day filled with joy, learning, and laughter.
